Skills painting- graded project
Goal: Demonstrate a command of discerning and stating Value.
Colors: Raw Umber and White.

Size: 16 x 20 Toned grounded canvas (Due: Monday, February 27 at the beginning of class)

Bring three objects to class on Monday, one must be vertical.

Final painting due Wednesday, March 1 at the end of class.

Matching Value

Considerations:
Create an achromatic value scale before you start your painting
Find the color on your palette first, then apply it to the canvas (matching value)
Use opaque paint, avoid transparent layers for this exercise
